Featured in Retailing Insight Magazine!
Exciting news today! House of Moss acorn ornaments are featured in the online magazine Retailing Insight! Retailing Insight is basically a magazine for shop owners, focusing on holistic and thoughtful items. A few months ago, they contacted me about this, and after submitting the photos & info, I kind of forgot about it (wedding stuff, helping Erik move, life is busy, blah blah blah).
So yesterday I got an email from them, letting me know that it is published! So thrilled to see my work on the pages of a publication next to so many other cool things!

New Wholesale Site for House of Moss: Self to Shelf
House of Moss is now available to retailers in on additional wholesale site. This one is called Self to Shelf, and it's an up-and-coming online wholesale hub for handmade goods. Self to Shelf, like Etsy Wholesale and Vianza, is only available for shopping to official retailers with a tax ID number, etc., but if you're interested in purchasing large orders of House of Moss products at similar discounts, feel free to check out my Wholesale/Large-Order section on my regular Etsy site.

Acorns in a video, IN AUSTRALIA!
One of the shops that sells my acorns happens to be in Australia! It's a great little boutique called The Happy Cabin.
Last week, they created a mini-movie about the darling little place. And my acorns ended up in lots of the shots! You can check out the video HERE.

House of Moss Featured on the Etsy Wholesale Blog!
A while back (October, I think), I was contacted by a member of Etsy Wholesale's team with a few questions for me to answer about my business. You kind of never know if/when this type of thing will actually be posted, so I wasn't putting too much stock in the possibility of being featured.
But you know what, they hadn't forgotten me! This morning, House of Moss got its very own little post on the Etsy Wholesale blog in a "featured item" series they're doing!
I still can't believe it's real. See it for yourself HERE!

House of Moss Available for Wholesale
This was a long time in coming. House of Moss is now officially available to retail shops and boutiques for wholesale online!
My wholesale offerings can currently be found on the brand-new Etsy Wholesale, as well as Vianza. Both sites require buyers to register and include proof of tax ID for resale, but if you're interested in large-quantity pricing as an individual, please check out the Wholesale/Large Orders section of my regular Etsy site. No resale tax ID necessary there. :)

Wholesale Linesheet Prep Work
This year, I decided I should take steps to get into selling wholesale. I've been doing some light/unofficial wholesaling through Etsy, with larger quantities of certain items going for smaller per-item costs. But it's a rather loose system and not really built for ongoing account relationships.
I've been preparing to make an extensive line sheet with all of my wholesale items. Case packs! Color options! SKUs! Actually I'm really enjoying the process, as it reminds me of the satisfaction I would get when I was in school from doing some sort of really straightforward homework assignment. It may be time-consuming, but it's kind of enjoyably repetitive in a meditative way.
Stay tuned to find out when House of Moss officially rolls out its wholesale offerings. But in the meantime, or if you want to get a large-quantity discount even without reselling the items, check out the wholesale section of my Etsy shop.

That's a record for sure, as well as a big milestone. Now to work on all the projects that got pushed to the wayside during my mad rush to finish this order!

Wholesale listings are back!
Wholesale listings are back in the shop! I deactivated them earlier in the month as I needed more time to prepare for the holiday shows– but now they're back! You can find them here.

Milestone: First wholesale wool order!
This was a big one for me: finally taking the plunge and buying the massive first-order minimum to open a wholesale account from one of my favorite wool suppliers! This will save me a bunch in the long run, and it feels great to have some of my most-used colors stocked up before the holidays.
